Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Super Robot Wars V coming to Japan in 2017

Bandai clearly has high hopes for the Vita beyond this year, with our first entry in the Japanese 2017 release list. The cuter of its mech franchises will hit the handheld and PS4 after Christmas, with a new tale, but likely the same endless robot battling with tactics style RPG options, that I've never really been able to fall in love with.

Still, it looks like we have the Yamato making an appearance, and a range of special characters to jolly the series along. Since this is pretty niche, not sure it will come west, but as long as Vita games are sold in Japan, we should be getting some of them! However, if you do want this, there will be an Asian English version to import come the new year.
