Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  Update: the Vectrex Kickstarter is live and blew past its first funding goal in ab out 15 minutes, and approaching £450K and 2,500 backers in its first day.   His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Lumo to light up the Vita in April

The PSN blog has just updated with a nice piece on the gorgeous looking Lumo, one of my most anticipated games of the year. While there's no Vita screens or video yet, the artwork alone should send older gamers into raptures of nostalgia, and the game itself will be full of nods to gaming history.

With 450 rooms plus loads of secrets, it should be quite the adventure, and as a labour of love for developer Gareth Noyce, here's hoping it finds a receptive audience on Vita and PS4.

Lumo will arrive on 22 April, more info on the blog. No word on price or if the Vita version will need to lose some of the effects to get it running well. The lovely and more than capable folks at Just Add Water are handling the Vita port!
