July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Flame Over is our PS+ Game for March

Laughing Jackal's Flame Over (review) is a heck of a challenging game, with a pretty clever gameplay mechanic and an endearing lead. While it may not be to everyone's taste, it is still a lot better than Reality Fighters. That launch-day sack of crap that tries to use some of the Vita's gimmicks and fails is your other Sony offering for PS+ fun in March - woop!
Since both PS4 titles, BroForce and Galak-Z failed to land on the Vita, we won't be getting them in what looks like the weakest PS+ line up in a long time.
