Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Xseed Brandishes a Dark Revenant trailer

A PSP game? In 2015? What are the odds of that happening? But don't mock, as the Brandish series from Falcom has a large fan base from its SNES series days and this remake with English text looks pretty sharp.

It will play on the PS Vita and, I guess, PS TV and if you want some old school dungeon romp, with dragons, magic and the usual chests and key puzzles with plenty of traps, this looks to fit the bill. This will be the first PSP game I've seen since 2013's Black Rock Shooter and who know what other cult or odd titles could sneak our way in future.

Currently playing on my Vita/PS3/PS4/PS5
