July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Keiji Inafune says Mighty No. 9 done and dusted

Keiji-San certainly looks a lot happier in this video than he ever did in the Soul Sacrifice era, that's what you get for playing with cute battle suits over demonic hordes. Announcing the game is more or less finished, his crowdfunded console MegaMan homage which roared through the $3.5 million Vita stretch goal in 2013 will be with us this year.

That's assuming Comcept is top of their ports, with multiple console versions to churn out. More Kickstarter titles here. Enjoy the quick gameplay snippet, and then look forward to reaping your Kickstarter reward, or paying up for the fun looking title.
