July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Flame Over fires up some video

We've seen plenty of pics, but not much action from Laughing Jackal's Flame Over. Set in a rotating world 3D view, your job is to keep the fires down, which sounds simple, but there's all sorts of different threats to our hero and a host of different tools at his disposal.

With other people around the building needing your help, cats to rescue and power, gas and other sources of trouble to cut, there's plenty of other tasks to keep you busy, all against the clock. This 10 minute video gives us the basics, but it looks a high quality production that offers some great gameplay.
