July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Flyhunter Origins buzzes into life this month

3D bug adventure Flyhunter Origins will grace the Vita later this month for just £4.99 on PSN and offering a fresh take on the microcosm genre. The team at Steel Wool games has a deep background in CG movies (Bug's Life, anyone?) and this looks like quite the fun arcade adventure.


Take on the role of Zak; a bumbling alien spaceship janitor and wannabe Flyhunter. He works on board the Flyhunter Crew's legendary spaceship; 'The Frog', but deep down he longs for an exciting adventure of his own...


Somewhere in Earth's orbit, while the Flyhunters are deep in cryo sleep; The Frog's important cargo of extremely rare insects is mysteriously jettisoned into space, crash-landing back on Earth. It seems that the clumsy janitor Zak is the only one around to save the day. Can this accidental hero swap his sweeping brush for a super-cool fly swatter and take on the role of daring Flyhunter?
