July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Senran Kagura offers death by pancakes

Ramping up the hype before launch, XSeed is pushing some new meet-the-girls style trailers for Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus. Following on from recent clips, we now get an eyeful of pancake tossing Minori and her massive, well, everything really. I'm pretty sure no game has ever seen its enemies squashed by giant baked goods before.

Stand-by for bags of purile fun coming our way in just a couple of weeks. The US is getting a limited edition version with the ‘Let’s Get Physical’ edition of the game, which includes the game card, a soundtrack CD and a 140-page ‘Shinobi Syllabus’ containing artwork and shinobi profiles with winning strategies.
