Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Super Distro Horizons brings animal explorers back into vogue

As Cult County fails to fund and Flying Hamster II finds a traditional publishing partner, a new game pops up on the crowd-funding scene for the Vita. Meet Super Distro Horizons, from Kitatus, being funded on Indiegogo.

Powered by Unreal Engine 4 and Unity, its getting a Vita build, although mention of it seems fleeting - it doesn't seem to be a stretch goal. SDH riffs on the finest animal/cartoon 3D adventure games from the 32-bit era and looks to have lots of potential with a feline sword-wielding hero. It aims to deliver the game by July 2014, so should be fairly close to completion and only needs £10K in funding to see it over the finish line.
