July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Badman's back, and this time its puzzling

Having rather enjoyed the PSP's Badman games, its good to see the pixelly anti-hero back in action, but is a match-three puzzler really the best use of his time and resources? Well, he's going to do it anyway. And since its a free game, with some DLC in the offing, who not give it a go with its launch this week.

The Japanese game arrived late last year, with the fast-paced puzzler following on from the original's dungeon pummeling exploits. Even if you only try it for free, it should be worth a blast in ad-hoc multiplayer mode. More on the PSN blog.
