The Dark Knight will step into the light from his dingy Vita and 3DS haunt, as Armature's Blackgate gets promoted to a big-screen console experience. The modestly received spin-off from the main Arkham games vanished quickly from memory, but will now follow Aveline Du Grandpre's exploits from Assassin's Creed Liberation onto the big box consoles.
Hopefully that'll help recover more of the development costs (can't see the first release having made that much money) and enable another shot on the smaller screens? The engine itself looked okay, but putting up a Batman game that was so much less than the big-screen version probably wasn't the best idea. The new version gets more voices, hi-res graphics and 5.1 audio.
