Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  Update: the Vectrex Kickstarter is live and blew past its first funding goal in ab out 15 minutes, and approaching £450K and 2,500 backers in its first day.   His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! I only really discovered the console world in the late 90s, which is when I got my very first Vectre...

America does the Vita Slim right

News out of a Sony press event in the states shows how you launch a new (or updated) console. The US will get a bundle with Borderlands 2 and an 8GB memory card for $199. Not a bad bundle at all. They also officially confirmed God of War collection and Sly 2 Trilogy. Hopefully they'll have a bit more zip to them than the rather clunky Ratchet and Clank HD trilogy.

No word of any NEW games coming out for it, Sony has an embargo for a couple days for some titles, with rumours mentioning the already confirmed MLB The Show 14, so there might be something lurking in the woods. Still, it remains hard to see Sony investing much western developer time ahead of a major rise in sales.
