July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. New Stein's Gate PS3 title remote plays on the Vita

I love the sound of the Stein's Gate world and the games have done pretty well on the PSP and Vita, but haven't made it outside of Japan. If you're a fan, then the next game in the series came out on PS3 last week, but caused a bit of a fuss when it arrived claiming Remote Play support, that didn't actually work.

I guess there's a patch out now as here's a video of someone Remote Playing the game on a Vita. Come westward little series, come west! Until then, its back to God of War HD for my RP fun.
