July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Hot Shots Golf monster putt update adds new modes features

One of the Vita's launch games and more popular titles (around 180,000 sales in Japan and rising thanks to the patch landing over there, which saw it rocket back into the Top 20) has got a major near-500MB patch that adds new features to the already pretty chunky game.

The patch is live in the States, will check for Europe (oh, it came out here last week). V1.05 looks like a sterling effort from developer Clap Hanz and offers:

- Turn-Based Challenge Mode
- 4-Player Stroke Mode multiplayer rooms
- Game Balance Adjustments
- New Visual Lobby “Elite Lounge 2″ available
- Additional Items
- Adjustments to the item acquisition method
- Real Tournament award specifications have changed
