July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Gravity Rush's Kat brings her moves to PS All-Stars Battle Royale

SuperBot's PSASBR game kind of passed me by, among all the other games last year and didn't really set the charts alight, but it looks worth a try and with the growing roster of DLC, its getting all the more tempting. And the lithe delights of Gravity Rush's Kat could pretty well tip the balance as she brings her fighting skills to the game alongside Emmett from Starhawk.



The DLC hits on 13th February and will be free for the first couple of weeks. I  should be able to find the game cheap somewhere (sub-£20) by then.
