Portable post-Black Friday deals take off from Nintendo, PlayStation and Evercade

 While there's no sign of a discount on the PlayStation Portal or Xbox Ally, portable gamers can still get in on the Black Friday action. Your Vita can now Bug your friends

A new freebie is out for the Vita today, doing a little social networking on your behalf via the power of a virtual insect. According to the new PSN blog post, once hatched your Travel Bug will spread via Near to meet other PS Vitas and report back with who it meets.



Hopefully this get a few more people using Near, but it hardly sounds like something that everyone will rush to investigate. The game itself is a freemium title, with you paying to release more bugs, accessorize them and  so on.
