July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. PS Vita WRC3 details emerge as PS3 demo launches

On the PSN blog, Milestone the developers of World Rally Championships 3 have given up some info on the Vita version that should be launching in October. In response to questions, Milestone's Sébastien Pellicano gave out some useful details.


We know know that the title will be a 30fps game across all formats, that won't be Cross-Buy or save between PS3 and Vita, and the Vita version will support up to six players. Some PS3 videos and screens of the game in action here, Vita imagery coming soon.
