Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! But he's had the energy and drive to do something about it, and met the right people to get the job done!  What first got you interested in Vectrex and what spawned the idea of a Mini version? Famitsu reviews rate the latest Vita releases, Ys, EDF3 and DJ Max

The Vita and PSP had a pretty good week in the world of Famitsu reviews, garnering high scores for all the games hitting the stores. While none of them are likely to match Hatsune Miku's sales, they should all post decent numbers, particularly EDF3.

Ys: Celceta no Jukai (PSV) – 9/9/9/8
SD Gundam G Generation Overworld (PSP) – 9/9/8/8
Earth Defense Force 3 Portable (PSV) – 8/8/8/7
DJMAX Technika Tune (PSV) – 7/7/7/7

Technika would probably have scored better had it not come out so soon after Sega's Hatsune Miku title, but is still a cracking music title
