July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. SpyHunter dated and ready for sneaky pre-orders

Spy Hunter on the Vita and 3DS has been given a 1 October roll-out date by Warner, some glossy new box art and is now available to pre-order from most US online stores for around $40.


Still haven't seen any decent size Vita images, so hard to tell how good or bad it'll look and the early videos were all 3DS, so hard to judge the gameplay. On the plus side, the game's Facebook page is adding tunes from the soundtrack, with a slinky new rendition of the Peter Gunn theme, click below to give it a listen.
