Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  Update: the Vectrex Kickstarter is live and blew past its first funding goal in ab out 15 minutes, and approaching £450K and 2,500 backers in its first day.   His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Nippon Ichi's Special Reporting Division is really "Special"

Sometime last week, I mentioned the announcement of Nippon Ichi's new game, and while it is about journalism, I was thinking hard news. In fact the Special in the title refers to alien, spooky and other unusual goings on. That's a bit clearer now in this Andriasang piece with pics and lots of character info.


Looking like a heavily character-based title, expect lots of trust, mistrust and relationship issues, in fact the picture above is the only one that looks even vaguely spooky. More information will be released soon and given western love of the unknown, perhaps a translation isn't too much to hope for.
