July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Konami's Mech Shooter Packs Plenty of Promise

Putting a whole bunch of videos out, Konami is showing off Senritsu no Stratus, a side-scrolling shooter, cum beat-em-up with people and mechs slogging it out. The game looks very slick and is packed with features, this is the most action-oriented of the videos.



Developed by Nudemaker, it offers a range of combat styles, upgrades and apart from some clunky looking menus, has pretty slick graphics with neat in-and-out zoom and some big, big, boss battles...
