Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Fighting Fantasy: Warlock of Firetop Mountain Coming to PSP Minis

Presumably Talisman of Death has sold pretty well as Laughing Jackal has just announced the second game in the PSP mini series will be the first ever FF game. So, prepare to welcome the Warlock of Firetop Mountain, which I got via my school's book club way, way, way back when. Largely as it had a great big dragon on the front when most other stuff was puppies or school kids.

There have been some tweaks from the first release with:

  • The Log Book now remembers which book you were in (Character, Item or Page)
  • The user can now return to the top of the page by pressing the up button when the first option is highlighted
  • A ‘Good’ generic alignment portrait added to Character Bios
  • A new mini game has been added to the end of the quest
