July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. #PSP2 - Does two games make a list?

One way or another news is creeping out about Sony's PlayStation Portable 2.

Sure, its all rumour and here-say, but so far it looks like LittleBigPlanet 2 and Uncharted 3 are on the list of games being developed for it. Since MediaMolecule helped get the fantastic version of LBP on the original PSP, and Uncharted will help promote the power of the PSP2, I think both are a shoe-in for the launch date.

What other games will be added to the list, maybe we'll see more at CES. Anyway the list starts here, come on back for updates.
