July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. New Toukiden 2 battle trailer

Having finally run out of slightly different weapons to show the world, Tecmo is resorting to oh-so-pretty CG to squeeze the last bit of hype out of Toukiden 2. Sure, it looks impressive, but you'd expect a PS4 game to actually play like that now, right? The trailer is presumably bolted on to the new demo that's out in Japan.

Also, if they're in the middle of a blazing hot desert - how come there's not a drop of sweat on any of them after an intense battle! If you missed it, here's the intro for the robot character. The game is out next week in Japan, and I'm pretty sure it won't sell more than a few hundred extra Vita consoles.
