Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Dragon Quest Builders video is very, very Minecraft

Square just showed off a few minutes video of Dragon Quest Builders on its live event video (hopefully a replay will appear soon). In the clips we have some mining, some home building and a little bit of combat.

There's also what looks like NPCs to live and work in your village, where it seems you can build Inns and other useful social structures.

All of it was welded into the Minecraft template, down to the crafting table, which doesn't scream of originality. At the same event, Dragon Quest Heroes II was dated for next spring.

Catch the replay now, DQ Builders starts around the 28 minute mark! (update, video long since removed!)
