Fight for the future

Polite Plea: After almost seven years and 7,000 articles, the number of stories is slowing down. Time and developers move on, but I'll always be posting, as the Vita becomes the new Dreamcast.
However, I do need a new Vita as my launch day model is starting to show its age. Please consider clicking an ad to help my new Vita fund!
Once reached, hopefully in time for Christmas, I will remove all adverts, leaving this island of Vita life an ad-free oasis!

Successor to Grand Knights History running to the Vita

I loved the look of Vanillaware's Grand Knights History on the PSP and was gutted when a western release was canned. While we still got Dragon's Crown, a more spiritual successor is on the way from new developer MonoChro, headed up by GKH's director Tomohiko Deguchi.

UPDATE: First video is live: four kingdoms battling for power, a mix of side scrolling and tactical battle action... impressed!

The new game, Grand Kingdom will be heading to Japanese games thanks to Spike Chunsoft later this year. It offers four-player RPG action and will come to PS4 as well. Not much in the way of visuals or video yet, but will update if any appears.
