Fight for the future

Polite Plea: After almost seven years and 7,000 articles, the number of stories is slowing down. Time and developers move on, but I'll always be posting, as the Vita becomes the new Dreamcast.
However, I do need a new Vita as my launch day model is starting to show its age. Please consider clicking an ad to help my new Vita fund!
Once reached, hopefully in time for Christmas, I will remove all adverts, leaving this island of Vita life an ad-free oasis!

Action RPG Zodiac spins closer to release on Vita

I last mentioned this game over a year ago, and the French/Scottish developers Kobojo are now close to bringing the scrolling RPG adventure to both the Vita and iOS. Here's a recent trailer out of GDC and Pocket Gamer has an early hands-on preview.

Featuring the talents of Final Fantasy scribe and composer Kazushige Nojima and Hitoshi Sakimoto, Zodiac should be packed with content and suitably anthemic tunes. It will be a free-to-play IAP-heavy title (that'll be the iOS influence, but since its coming to Vita, I'll let that pass) with years worth of content planned, if its a success, I guess. Zodiac is due out later this year!
