PSP2, Switch 2 and an Xbox handheld... a brighter portable future?

Digimon sells 76K on launch

The latest Media Create chart is out in Japan and in a busy week, Bandai's Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth slots in at No. 3 selling 76,760 copies (over 90% of shipped copies), making it the most popular Digimon launch yet. It arrives behind Yakuza 0 on PS3 and PS4, and hopefully this success will help push it to a western release.

In at No. 4 is a PSP otome game (of all things) Song of Prince Sana "Utapri" from Brocolli. Down the list God Eater 2 Rage Burst is just a smidge off (and now probably past) 300,000 sales!

Vita sales nudged up a few hundred to just below 21,000 on the week (still ahead of the new 3DS LL) with Winning Post (selling just 6,000) and a couple of other games out. This week sees Pirate Warriors 3 and a bunch of others out so expect a bigger rise next week.
