Commentators are all over Japan's falling hardware and games sales from retail stores. Sony could have put a band-aid on that by actually telling us how many PS4, PS3 and Vita games it is selling on PSN in the country.
Instead all we get is a bland top 10, which interestingly is topped by a couple of western titles, suggesting Japan's love of all things sandbox. If you want to develop a Vita hit, then that looks like the way to go. I wonder if Mojang or Re-Logic could tell the world how their games have done in Japan?
1. Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition (Mojang)
2. Terraria (Spike Chunsoft)
3. Freedom Wars (Sony)
4. Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit! (Marvelous)
5. Muramasa Rebirth (Marvelous)
6. Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment (Bandai Namco)
7. Soul Sacrifice Delta (Sony)
8. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F2nd (Sega)
9. Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines (Sony)
10. Persona 4 Golden (Atlus)
