Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  Update: the Vectrex Kickstarter is live and blew past its first funding goal in ab out 15 minutes, and approaching £450K and 2,500 backers in its first day.   His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Alawar brings jocular jousting to Vita and PS4

Oh dear, if you've seen this on the iPad, then you'll at least know to run far away from its heavy use of in-app purchases. Its a jousting game where the player needs to conquer enemies to upgrade their armour to fight stronger enemies, etc. Three years on, while it got decent ratings on the App Store, is it something we really need to spend time on when we have Spelunky, Velocity and so on to play?

It does offer multiplayer and cross-save across PS4, Vita and PS3, but since the iPad version is free, why pay (it doesn't say what the price is on the PSN post) for it?
