Japanese Vita sales continue to slide, despite plenty of games

Despite seven Vita games in the Japanese Media Create top 20, the Vita is down another 1,000 units to just under 14,000 (including 1,000 Vita TVs). It is still doing better than last year, but the slide continues and the gap is narrowing. Wonder if we'll see Vita or PSP sales rise next week on the news of PSP's retirement, or will it have to wait until Freedom Wars at the end of the month?

On the games front, Mario Kart conquers all and doubled Wii U sales, while Gekishin Black Heart did well in at No. 4 for the Vita.
