PSP2, Switch 2 and an Xbox handheld... a brighter portable future?

Vektor Wars gets a developer update, alpha soon

This is a couple of weeks old, apologies for the miss, but Super Icon has updated its developer notes about upcoming indie shooter Vektor Wars, with news on working with Unity, weapons added and a fantastic Top Trumps card deck of enemies, plus inspiration from the classic systems. Coming first to PCs, it is developed in Unity to make that Vita conversion easier. Super Icon, who treated us to Life of Pixel, has just submitted Indoor Sports World to Sony for testing on the Vita, expect a release in November.

Here's hoping Vektor Wars isn't too far behind, even more so since the first Vita indie vector shooter, Vektropolis, appears to have dropped off the radar. Look out for a funded PC version alpha where we can help shape the final game. You can also follow its progress on IndieDB.
