Battles in Mind 0 pack a punch, but too much static

Trying to throw something a little different (and not be called a Persona rip-off; high school, magical battles, etc) Mind 0 from Zero Div is out at the start of August in Japan. Trying to drive up the interest, the best they can come up with is these grim static chat scenes and an all-too brief bit of battling.


Basically, MIND stands for Mental Inside Nobody Dolls, which the kids create to do their battles for them, either as defensive shields or as increasingly powerful attackers. I do like the battle scenes, but really can a game sell on such quick cuts and massive of inactivity? Hopefully there's more action to it than this.
