Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! PS Vita sales rise in Japan on new colours and Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation

The new colour editions of the PS Vita have given it a useful boost in Japan with the sales of 13,091, beating out the PSP's 12,217 according to Media Create figures. Even combined that's less than a quarter of this week's 3DS sales, just for perspective.

The new Sapphire Blue model and a red unit were helped by the arrival of Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation which sold almost 25,000 copies, not bad for a western game in Japan. The Vita was down to under 5,000 last week, and will probably by back in four-digit figures next week, but every little helps!
