PS Vita wins T3 Gaming Gadget of the Year award

Shiny trophies might not mean much when hard, cold, sales are what is need to thrive in the market. But Sony should get some free advertising and a nice shiny badge to put on the PS Vita boxes as it won the Gaming Gadget of the year award at T3 magazine's award ceremony.

It was up against the Nintendo 3DS, OnLive console, Alienware X51 PC and NVIDIA's 3D glasses. Phone of the year went to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the overall Gadget award went to the Google Nexus 7. Will the award really help sales? I'd imagine the top game bundles on the way for Christmas will do a lot more for them.
