Fight for the future

Polite Plea: After almost seven years and 7,000 articles, the number of stories is slowing down. Time and developers move on, but I'll always be posting, as the Vita becomes the new Dreamcast.
However, I do need a new Vita as my launch day model is starting to show its age. Please consider clicking an ad to help my new Vita fund!
Once reached, hopefully in time for Christmas, I will remove all adverts, leaving this island of Vita life an ad-free oasis!

Japan getting cheaper PS Vita 3G bundles

According to a Sony Japan press release, gamers over there are soon getting limited edition cheaper PlayStation Vita packs. One is called the "PlayStation Vita 32GB Bonus Pack" and will cost ¥34,980 while the "PlayStation Vita Starter Pack" will ship a week later and cost ¥29,980 with a copy of Everybody's Golf and a 4GB card.

Both are 3G models, so I guess Sony is more or less giving up on the WiFi version over there, given the more social nature of Japanese gaming. Hopefully they won't be that limited, and are shipping a week apart in November to give a semi-seasonal boost to Vita sales.
