July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Deep Silver's Sacred 3 headed to PS Vita - Myth Busted

Not much detail but another in the series of Diablo-esquire RPGs has been announced and this time with a Vita version. As a huge Old-School Diablo fan, a portable game in that vein would be awesome, especially after the farce of D3 on PC. Previous versions have added their own slant on Diablo, so hopefully this will continue the evolution.

The game is due out at the end of 2013. Can't see this mentioned by Deep Silver, and the info comes from an odd European site, will confirm on Monday when I'm at a PC.

UPDATE: Deep Silver have called foul on this news by Twitter - "Dear journalists, we never confirmed any PlayStation Vita version for Sacred 3. Possibly because there is none. Thanks for fact checking"

Currently playing on my Vita/PS3/PS4/PS5
