PSP2, Switch 2 and an Xbox handheld... a brighter portable future?

Doctor Who's Eternity Clock running to the Vita in June

The Doctor Who adventure, The Eternity Clock, will finally materialise for the PS Vita and PS3 toward the end of May, appearing on PSN on the 23rd and in stores on Friday 25. Update (that's only the PS3 version, the Vita version will hit in mid-June).

The Vita version will come with unique features, including Near support and will be save compatible with the PS3. Could this be another in the Vita's line-up of low-cost, great-playing titles? Or will the glamour of The Doctor, his companions and legendary enemies overshadow any gameplay elements? We'll find out next week.
