The long, drawn out process of PlayStation Suite development rolls on with news of an open beta next month, following on from last year's closed beta. When it finally launches, developers can bring a host of games to the Vita and Android devices via a cheap SDK similar to how Apple's app development process works.
The games should play on any PlayStation Certified devices which currently include the Vita, Xperia Play, S1 tablet and a few other devices. While Suite is a good idea, Sony is so far behind the times on this now, its almost embarrassing. That and the feeble support for the Android PS store has left the company way behind the curve. Probably better to launch the whole service now in open beta (which never hurt Google) and get games out there for people to play.
