Fight for the future

Polite Plea: After almost seven years and 7,000 articles, the number of stories is slowing down. Time and developers move on, but I'll always be posting, as the Vita becomes the new Dreamcast.
However, I do need a new Vita as my launch day model is starting to show its age. Please consider clicking an ad to help my new Vita fund!
Once reached, hopefully in time for Christmas, I will remove all adverts, leaving this island of Vita life an ad-free oasis!

Sony still pushing the PSP in Japan

Probably aware of the budget crunch in people's homes, Sony is still offering plenty of PSP marketing including a new site and offer to encourage take of up of its original portable. A new site is offering a neat black-and-red model with a custom strap and highlighting the massive range of very popular games for it.

That 17,800 yen price is around £145 or $230 with a 2GB MemoryStick. The red/black detailing looks pretty smart and should help the PSP continue to sell for a good while yet.
